ABOUT ME

Engineering Philosophy

I bridge the gap between software development and systems operations to enable secure, fast, and stable product delivery.

Who I Am

I am Devon Cloud, a specialized Platform Architect based in San Francisco. My engineering focus is on building robust automation systems, orchestrating containerized infrastructure, and configuring comprehensive telemetry.

I believe that cloud infrastructure should be clean, modular, and self-documenting. By employing tools like Terraform and ArgoCD, I aim to create declarative developer environments that enforce security protocols automatically while boosting velocity.

Reliability & Uptime First

Designing self-healing, fault-tolerant infrastructure with automated failover mechanisms to sustain high service SLAs.

Automate Everything

Eliminating manual toil by treating infrastructure as software, from declarative configs to continuous integration and GitOps workflows.

Performance & Scale

Architecting cloud-native solutions that auto-scale horizontally to manage traffic surges without service degradation or cost runs.

infrastructure-as-code-activity
